Eco-responsible tourism at Villa L'Alameda
Because we love travel as much as we love our planet, and because sustainable tourism fits perfectly with our values, we have started to go green.
Our green approach
In this sense, we have made water and energy consumption our priority:
- Water management : Installation of water limiters
- Energy management : Low energy light bulbs / double glazing / floor, wall and ceiling insulation
- Raising awareness among our guests and staff about the use of the house heating and the jacuzzi
But not only ...
- The waste sorting systemthat has been put in place also contributes to this approach. Thus, our waste is entirely sorted
- Some of the products used for cleaning are now ecolabelled and their consumption controlled, which offers better air quality and fewer health risks
- The welcome products have been redesigned with a view to saving plastic and recycling. They are fully eco-certified..

Furthermore, during your stay, you can help us by adopting some simple eco-gestures.
Preserving our water resources
Because small actions can have big consequences:
- We change yourbed linen and towels at your convenience. An unwashed towel saves 6 litres of water.
- We offer a mid-stay cleaning service on request.
- Remember to turn off the taps when brushing your teeth and don't let the water run unnecessarily: a 5 minute shower uses 40-50 litres of water, each additional minute uses 10 litres more!
- Please only throw toilet paper into the toilets, there are bins available. Cigarette butts, sanitary napkins and other rubbish impair the proper functioning of the wastewater treatment plant.
- Do not hesitate to report any leaks or other water-related problems to us
Energy is our future: save it!
In your room, have the right reflexes:
- Use heating sparingly:: it's better for your health! If you open the window, don't forget to turn off the heating or air conditioning.
- Set the temperature of the hot tub to 30degC when not in use.
- Pleaseturn off the lights when leaving your room and the house.
Let's move without polluting:
Ask at the reception desk for all the information you need to get around and discover the city on foot, by bike, electric bike, scooter, green cab (Taxi G7), electric car or with public transport (visit the ratp website for more information). Discover here the map of Parisian cycle paths.

Let's reduce our waste quickly: it's overflowing!
As far as possible and in compliance with hygiene rules, we limit single-use products and over-packaging. We separate waste.
You can help us by depositing :
- Empty packaging, bottles and newspapers in the grey bin on the veranda
- Your non-recyclable waste in the grey kitchen bin
- Vos verres dans la poubelle verte de la véranda.
