Ecology
In Villa L'Alameda we have a compromise with nature.
We invite you to contribute to this engagement by:
1. Remembering to turn off the taps when brushing your teeth and not letting the water run unnecessarily.
2. Please ensure that only toilet paper is disposed of in the toilets, as there are bins available. Cigarette butts, sanitary napkins and other rubbish impair the proper functioning of the wastewater treatment plant.
3. Use heating sparingly:: it's better for your health! If you open the window, don't forget to turn off the heating or air conditioning.
4. Setting the temperature of the hot tub to 30degC when not in use.
5. Turning off the lights when leaving your room and the house.
6. Limiting single-use products and over-packaging as much as possible.
7. Sorting waste. Please put your empty packaging, bottles and newspapers in the grey bin on the veranda. Your non-recyclable waste in the grey bin in the kitchen. Your glass in the green bin in the veranda.

Parc de Sceaux
Very beautiful park of 181 hectares ideal for walking, running, picnics...
The park was designed by André Le Nôtre at the end of the 17th century at the request of Colbert and then his son the Marquis de Seignelay. During the Revolution, due to speculation by the Black Band1, the estate was pillaged and sold to a farmer, Jean François Hippolyte Lecomte, and the château and waterfalls were destroyed. A new castle was built from 1856 by his daughter, Anne-Marie Lecomte-Stuart, married to the Duke of Trevise
Cambaceres Lake
Charming little park next to the villa where we can observe sometimes in the morning a magnificent gray heron...
The lake of Verrières is the last tangible witness of the park of the castle of Migneaux.
It was originally a hamlet of Verrières built around a feudal work which was destroyed in the 16th century and replaced by a castle which, passing from hand to hand, ended in 1831 in that of Jean-Pierre Hubert, duke of Cambaceres.
